If you love these big guys, you should go to the Westminster dog show (February in NY). They have an open "backstage" area where you can admire and kiss dogs. Years ago, I fell in love with the deerhounds; they were hanging out on big wooden platforms, draped all over one another, too big for crates: an amazing sight that I've never forgotten.
